We had a really enjoyable stay and would come back. The Vortex Suite was clean, spacious and nicely decorated, with a roll-top bath, and check-in was easy and fuss-free. There are sea views, and Dreamland is only a few minutes away. There's no parking, but we used Dreamland's car park for £10 for the weekend. The nightclub next door was noisy, a problem I've seen mentioned in other reviews too. I had to close the window, which wasn't great on such a hot last night. The thin white curtains also didn't block much light. Thankfully I'd brought earplugs, so I got some sleep. It's a shame the guest house is right beside a nightclub, though the stay was still thoroughly enjoyable.

This was our second stay, and we plan to come back. The rooms are spotless, with plenty of tea and coffee waiting for you, and the quirky themes are brilliant. You're two minutes from the beach and Margate's old town. It overlooks the beach, and there's a small car park out front where we leave the car for an hour while we get settled, then move it to a long-stay lot elsewhere. Entry is by keypad, and the code and other details arrive the day before you get there.

The pub next door got noisy over the weekend, and the shower only had hot water sometimes. The room itself was big, with a large soft bed. It felt typically English and was close to the beach.
