Premier Inn Margate

The staff are the reason I’m giving this five stars. Everyone was lovely both times we stayed and always ready to help. On our first visit, the room felt a bit run down because we were in one of the old rooms while the refurbishment was underway. Now that the work is finished, the rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. The cosy bar has great decor, and the old town is about a 10 minute walk away.

Breakfast and our evening meal were good quality, with plenty to choose from. The room was very clean, there were lots of towels, and the temperature felt just right. Check-in was easy, and every staff member we met was polite, caring and really nice. It was our first stay at the Premier Inn in Margate, and we’ll definitely stay again. Having it right next to the train station is a bonus.

Joanne and her manager went above and beyond to arrange for our friends to transfer from the Ramsgate site and stay with us. I can’t praise the staff highly enough. We had a fabulous stay in a spacious, clean room, with Margate an easy short walk away and the train station right next door.

The weather was so poor that we spent the evening at the hotel, and Joanne made it a brilliant, fun night, especially for the children. We thought we might be too late to eat, but the menu choices suited us perfectly. Her attention to detail and the way she looked after the kids made the evening for me. Thank you all, and especially Joanne.
