Travelodge was a convenient base for our Friday-to-Sunday visit to family nearby, and I was pleasantly surprised by the stay. The room was clean and comfortable, as expected, though it had no luxuries. We had enough space for our dog's bed as well as my child's cot, and being able to bring the dog was a real bonus. It's right in the town centre, with reasonably priced paid parking around the back. You could hear a low level of street noise in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful, both when we arrived and in the email beforehand. Good value, and I'd stay again.

The bed was absolute bliss, and the restaurant next door was spotless. The facilities were spot on and had what I needed. The basics are pretty basic, though, and this isn't the quietest or darkest part of Market Harborough. Those blackout curtains need sorting!

We had a good weekend house hunting. The room got a bit hot with the window closed, but the team were a great help when the WiFi didn't work as expected.

The location is superb, with shops right there, plenty of proper pubs on the high street, and lots of cafés just around the corner for breakfast. There's also a sunny courtyard at the entrance with Martello Lounge bar and a beautician, which could be handy for a wedding stay. We were pleased we'd paid a little extra to stay in the town centre instead of going to the Premier Inn on the outskirts. Our family room was spacious, with a lovely clean bathroom, and the Travelodge itself was perfectly clean and modern, looking recently refurbished. Reception staff were friendly and good fun. Despite it being Saturday night, we heard no noise, as our room was at the other side of the building from the courtyard and Martello Lounge. Great for a weekend break.
