Ashfield Studio

We loved the little jokes and playful touches in the Ashfield Studio, from the quirky wall art to the games and films left by the host. They gave the place a cheerful, whimsical feel. The design and furniture felt carefully chosen, while the bed was wonderfully comfortable and the morning light coming through the windows made waking up a pleasure. From the start, the scent of trees and flowers in bloom drew us in. The whole studio felt cosy and relaxing, like being wrapped in a warm hug by a friend. Our stay was magical, and part of our hearts will always be in those charming walls.

The studio was beautifully decorated and ideally located, with a new bathroom and kitchen and everything we needed. The bed was comfy, there was plenty of parking, and pets were welcome. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area and could imagine how lovely the setting would be in summer, while it was cosy in winter too. Market Rasen has a lovely charm and some great little pubs, with lots to see and visit nearby. We had an amazing weekend and would definitely recommend it. Hope to return. 5 stars!

We loved it. The home was spacious, comfortable and clean, with everything we needed for a home from home stay. Our Lab had lots of room to run freely outside. The hosts were excellent, and it was a great four days relaxing in the countryside without being too far from anywhere.

The building is beautiful and could be lovely with some decorating and care, which is such a shame. The kettle was full of limescale, there were hairs in the shower, and the shower trap was disgusting and smelled rancid. The grill pan had old fat and food from previous guests. The bed was so uncomfortable I didn’t sleep. Martin was nice, but Denise seemed a bit off hand.
