The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the little place had everything we needed. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Upper Wood End Farm is in a really pretty spot, and the accommodation felt cosy. I’d happily recommend it if you’re staying nearby.

We had such a good stay here. The countryside is beautiful, with lovely walks and plenty of nature around. The hosts were outstanding, and the accommodation had quality fittings and a peaceful feel. I’d strongly recommend it.

We spent nine days here over Christmas with our two dogs, and it was great having lovely walks right on the doorstep. The family who run the farm and cottages were lovely, and their local recommendations were excellent. The cottage had everything we needed for self catering. When we asked for an extra chair at the table, they sorted it out.

Jean and James gave us a lovely welcome as their first guests after taking over the farm. We stayed in one of the cottages, which was clean, comfortable, and had what we needed for a relaxing break in a lovely spot. It was very dog friendly too. I’d highly recommend it. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the cottage was clean, well equipped, and had great Wi-Fi. Ours was a one-bedroom place with a sofa bed in the lounge and a well stocked kitchen area. It’s a handy base for getting around the surrounding areas. The cottages are converted stables on a small family run farm. We booked directly with the hosts for our month-long stay, though you can also book online. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.
