We found the King Studio clean, roomy and well equipped, and it was great value for the two nights my boyfriend and I spent there. There was shower gel, plus pots and pans in the kitchen, and a lovely welcome hamper. Salt and pepper would have been useful little additions. The thermostat was confusing, since adjusting it didn't seem to get the heating working properly. Parking was awkward too: the area is supposed to hold three cars, but the spaces were tight. I don't really understand allocating a particular spot to each room when the main thing is that every guest gets a space. Someone else had taken mine, but another guest was passive aggressive with me for parking in hers. Surely it shouldn't have mattered.

We could walk to the Heights of Abraham and Gulliver's Kingdom from this apartment, which overlooks the river and woods. It's also a great base for exploring the Peak District. The beds were very comfortable, everything was finished to a high standard, and the kitchen had what we needed for self catering, including a dishwasher. There was a large shared freezer downstairs as well. Booking was straightforward, and communication during our stay was prompt and really helpful. I'd definitely recommend it.

Tea, coffee, sugar and milk were left for us, which was handy since Matlock bath has no shops selling food or drink. The apartment was lovely, right on the front with a river view. It was spotless, and the beds were so comfortable, with good quality bedding. I'd definitely recommend it.

We had everything we needed, including a lovely welcome pack, and parking was a real bonus. The apartment was clean, comfortable and warm, just right for a chilly october weekend. It's in a perfect spot in the middle of the village. Just be aware we couldn't find a local shop for milk or a paper. We'll be back.

We loved the spacious apartment, especially the smart TV, smart heating, great kitchen and bathroom, and comfy bed. Parking was a bit tight, but it caused us no trouble during our stay.
