It’s a peaceful spot where birds are about the only real noise, and the views are stunning. We loved the garden, which is joyful and clearly well kept. There are walks all around, so it makes a fabulous base. The cottage is finished to a very high standard and has everything you could need. Definitely worth a stay if you're holidaying in the area. Highly recommend!

This was our third stay at Lea View Cottage, and this time our friends came along. They were impressed by the accommodation and the hospitality from Jill and Malcolm. We’ve visited at different times of year, and on this trip we got to enjoy the beautiful garden, sitting outside and making good use of the BBQ. Everything needed for a self-catering break is provided, and it’s all top quality. Highly recommend for a Peak District visit. Thanks again, Jill and Malcolm, for a wonderful stay.

Parking on sight and a pub down the road make this a handy place to stay. My wife and I had the upstairs bedroom, with its own bathroom and TV lounge, while our friends used one of the two downstairs bedrooms. There’s another bathroom downstairs, plus a lounge and fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor. The furnishings are first class, and the place is clean, tidy, quiet and fully equipped.

We were welcomed with flowers, wine, fruit cake and the basics, milk, tea, coffee and sugar. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there’s a good pub just minutes away called The Jug and Glass, with good food. A stunning cottage, nicely decorated, with lovely views. Highly recommend.

A great starting point for a holiday. The cottage keeps its historic look on the outside, while the inside has been completely updated. The amenities were great.
