New Bath Hotel & Spa, a member of Radisson Individuals

The staff were exceptional, and the location was great. A fantastic hotel. I can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to visit again.

The room was in a terrible state, with pubic hair in both the sink and bedroom, stained carpets, and wallpaper peeling off. I’d booked a superior room, but this wasn’t one. Reception told me to return in an hour and it would be cleaned; two hours later, nothing had changed. When I asked to move rooms, they said I could get a refund if I checked out then. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. DO NOT STAY HERE, IT’S WORSE THAN FAULTY TOWERS.

Good value, with a decent restaurant and very friendly, professional staff. The location is excellent, too.

Breakfast was mostly deep-fried or stale, and the tables were sticky. The bar urinals were very dirty as well. The room itself was dirty, with large carpet stains, no valance on the bed, and lots of mould around the bath grout and across the ceiling. I’d booked and phoned two weeks ahead to ask for twin beds, but was given a king-size bed instead. Reception offered no solution when I raised it, so one of us had to sleep on the floor. This definitely doesn’t feel like a four-star place at the moment. Please try to avoid it.
