The Beeley Inn

I had dinner at The Beeley Inn each evening and was impressed by the food every time. The starters and mains were consistently well done, and the included breakfast was excellent too. Staff were relaxed, friendly and attentive without hovering. It's an ideal spot for walking into Bakewell or up to Chatsworth. I stayed for three nights while exploring the area, including Chatsworth House, and going on several long walks. My spacious double room was quiet, beautifully presented and full of character. After a long day walking, the roll top bath was great, and the separate shower had excellent pressure. The underfloor heating was a welcome surprise. The bed was very comfortable, and the tea and coffee setup was well thought out, down to little touches like Chatsworth biscuits. I'd happily recommend The Beeley Inn and would very much like to come back.

We went for a meal here on Friday 19th December. The place is lovely, and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. There aren't many menus this good. I had fish and chips, and it was the best fish I've had in as long as I can remember.

We didn't stay here, but came for dinner tonight and had a great meal. My wife and I both had the sirloin of beef with shallot puree, cavalo nero and potato tagine. Everything was cooked perfectly, and it was really, really good. Dessert was lush too, the beer selection was fine, and the service was fantastic. The food was outstanding and the service impeccable. Highly recommended if you're around Chatsworth, and worth the drive out.

We came to this lovely pub for drinks, then decided to eat since it was lunchtime. The food was absolutely superb, and the price felt fair for the quality. The staff were brilliant too. Thanks for a lovely lunch in such a nice setting.
