A peaceful spot and a well kept place with loads of room. It's well situated for walks and attractions.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. The owner blamed us for the faulty shower, which had scalding hot water and a stuck fixture. In person, they acknowledged that worn parts were the problem, but told Syke's Cottages it was all down to the guests. We were left with one shower for seven people and no water for half a day. Second homes are already a problem in the area, so it's a shame this one wasn't even decent.

A charming character cottage with lovely south facing views down an inaccessible lane. The good sized bedrooms upstairs and downstairs worked perfectly for two families.
