Love this great B&B. It's in a fab location, the people are really friendly, and the food is fantastic.
The bed in our room was excellent, and our host gave us a lovely warm welcome. The place feels very authentic, and Vodafone reception was excellent there. Excellent all round.
The walk Suzie suggested to the woods to see the William Wallace Statue was well worth doing. I hadn't packed my full hiking and exploring gear because I was travelling light and needed room for my extra motorcycle kit. The local roads were fun on the bike, and I already knew the views would be good. After a really great night's sleep in the comfortable bed, I enjoyed an amazing breakfast. Suzie went above and beyond as a host.
Terrible service. I was travelling to the area to arrange my step mum's funeral after my other accommodation cancelled. I emailed Suzie, who kindly agreed that I could book and pay on departure, and I would have tipped 10% as a big thank you. An hour before arrival, our car broke down, and Suzie then cancelled and withdrew the agreement. I understand this isn't the usual policy, but agreements are binding, and I'd be wary of booking in future in case they cancel on anyone. Avoid at all costs.
