The caravan felt roomy and was clean and neatly arranged, and we slept comfortably. The shower was good too. The woman running the site was lovely and friendly. It's peaceful here, but still close enough to town for the shops and other amenities. I was very happy with the stay and plan to come back.

I brought my elderly mother here for a second stay. The caravan was clean and had everything we needed, and the price felt like very good value.

The hosts were helpful, warm and friendly, and the grounds and caravans are kept in good shape. The fishing ponds are well stocked and looked after. It's a quiet countryside spot, yet the local pubs with outdoor seating, food, the co-op, tearoom and takeaways are just a 10-minute walk away. We'd happily return for another restful weekend.

Fishing was fantastic, and both lakes are kept in lovely condition. One of them sometimes has matches, but there’s a second lake that’s just as good, so it wasn't a problem. The hosts are friendly and around most of the day if you need them. Our caravan was well equipped, though I did miss having a corkscrew for my wine. The bed was comfortable and we slept peacefully. There was the odd train, but we couldn't hear it at night. I'll definitely be back, hopefully soon.

The caravan was very good and had a decent-sized TV. The site has no WiFi, but 4G reception is strong, so you can tether a mobile to the TV for Netflix and YouTube. The woman running the site was helpful and really nice. It's a great place for a weekend or a longer stay, with the pub, shops and food outlets a five-minute walk away and Lincoln a 25-minute drive.
