Caversham Lodge

Raj was one of the best hosts I've come across, warm and very helpful. The lodge was exceptionally clean, with tidy rooms and toilets that were cleaner than I expected. The team paid attention to every part of the building. It's close to the town centre, and everything was a 10/10.

Raj came through for us when we really needed help. He's an absolute saint, and such a great host. The lodge is clean, cosy and very convenient if you're visiting Reading. A great stay in a lovely place, 10/10 for the stay and 11/10 for Raj. Thank you so much!

Inside, it's very clean and really well decorated and maintained, so don't let the exterior put you off. Raj is the most helpful landlord you'll find. The central heating was my only slight issue: my room was like a furnace, so I slept with the windows open and that sorted it. Well done, Raj. I'll see you again soon.

It's a friendly, welcoming guest house, with comfortable, clean rooms at a reasonable price. The Wi-Fi worked well, and they were happy to meet any extra requests. There's parking at the rear, and it's an easy walk to the station, with lots of takeaway food shops nearby.
