My family and I stayed here for a family birthday party in the evening, and we were so impressed by the service. Max the manager and his staff went out of their way to meet our needs, from the rooms and seating to arranging the buffet. It was very hot, so everyone wanted to sit outside, and they made sure there was plenty of food for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. They even stayed well past closing to help a relative who needed medical assessment after a fall. We’ll definitely come back and stay again.

We had an excellent long weekend here with a large group, including children. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well maintained, and the food was excellent. The staff were outstanding, especially Max, who went above and beyond to look after everyone. The service was exceptional. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We came back for our Christmas team lunch for the second year in a row, and it was so much fun. We booked ahead and sent a list of our food requirements. The team communicated well and did a wonderful job accommodating them. The table was lovely and cozy, and the food came out quickly, hot and tasting amazing. The price was amazing too, and the staff were wonderful and friendly. Highly recommend.

We stayed as a couple Friday to Monday in December, with a family pre-Christmas lunch in the restaurant on Sunday. From beginning to end, we were impressed with the happy team and the attention they gave us. Stephanie was particularly good at reading the room and anticipating what guests needed, and we’d like to thank all the staff for their service. We were happy with the food, accommodation and service. The rooms were cozy, nicely finished and high quality. The menus had a fantastic balance of choices, and everyone in the family enjoyed the food. It’s a hidden gem offering a luxury experience at great value. We’ve already thought about coming back in the new year. Thanks again to you all.

We had a fabulous stay at Hare and Hounds for my niece’s birthday party. The room was lovely and very comfortable, and the food and drinks were nice. Max and his team provided outstanding service and went beyond what we expected. Thank you very much, Max, diolch yn fawr 👏
