Ann and Pat made us feel so welcome, they’re warm and friendly hosts. We loved our three days at their cottage, especially the real treat of a breakfast. It felt like staying with family. There are good train links to Reading and London not far away. We hope to come back next year and see them again, either at their farm field palace or at our own chateau Le Plessis in Semalay in France.

Ann was so welcoming and made sure everything I needed was there. My room was really cosy, and the pubs are about 10 minutes away. Such a lovely place to stay, I highly recommend it.

The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice, and I’d happily stay at Field Farm Cottage again. I was there for one night because it’s a convenient five-minute drive from Ufton Court, where I was attending a wedding. Ann was a lovely, kind and helpful host, even after my partner accidentally spilled coffee grounds on the bedroom floor. The cosy, comfortable bedroom had an en-suite shower with great pressure. My only issue was my own preference: the pillows were too soft for me, since I like a firmer one. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Breakfast was amazing, with homemade muesli and jams as well as a full English. The host was wonderful and really went the extra mile. I enjoyed the beautiful setting and my cosy, very comfortable room, which had thoughtful extras like fresh milk, a homemade biscuit and toiletries. I’ve even started making homemade muesli for my husband because of the stay.
