The food was home-cooked, with generous portions, and we thought it was exceptional. We also found the stay excellent value, thanks to Pippa & Mark and their staff. We were at the Poachers on the 5th and 6th of December and were delighted with it. Our room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The location worked perfectly for us, quiet and only a short drive from Lincoln and everywhere we wanted to visit. Many thanks, Helen and Steve.

Breakfast was delicious and set us up well for the day. Our suite had two lovely bedrooms, fluffy towels, WiFi, a TV in each room, tea and coffee facilities, and a nice shower. We stayed for two nights while visiting friends. The location was great, a 15-minute walk from the station, then a 15-minute train ride to Lincoln, which is well worth a visit. Thanks to hardworking Mark and Pippa. I can't wait to come back, and I'm looking forward to dinner there next time.

We had some of the food there on Friday and it was excellent. Our friends had travelled a long way down from Scotland, and you made them feel welcome and looked after them so well. They'll definitely come back. Amazing, thanks again.

The staff were friendly and efficient, and there were no complaints from us. We came for Sunday lunch with friends and their young children. The meat was cooked well, the toasties were good, and the steaming vegetables came in separate dishes. The desserts were tasty and plentiful too.

Mark and Pippa were great hosts, nothing was too much trouble, and the breakfast was amazing. We stayed two nights at The Lincolnshire Poacher. It was quiet, and the room had tasteful decor with lovely quality bedding and towels. The pub was closed on the Sunday and Monday nights we were there, but there was a nice Indian restaurant a short walk down the road. It's ideally located for visiting Dyson Farming, and we'd definitely recommend it.
