One of the best Premier Inns I’ve stayed at so far. Check-in was smooth, the hotel looks good, and the room was clean. The bathroom was bright and clean too, and the bed was comfy. There’s paid parking available just behind the hotel, so at least there’s an option. It’s also close to another hotel that has a GYM. A good experience.

The location was fine, but staff have to cover both the front desk and restaurant. That’s not ideal when the self check-in machines are out of order. My main issue was that the windows don’t open, so a fan ran constantly through the night. If you’re sensitive to noise, this probably isn’t the hotel for you.

The stay was pleasant apart from a couple of snags. We were told at 6pm that we didn’t need to book for food, so we planned a quick meal before our 8pm show. When we went down at 7, though, there was just one chef and the wait was about an hour. Reception and the restaurant need to communicate better. The breakfast area also wasn’t well stocked in the morning.

The fresh full English was plentiful and cost us £11. Staff were great, and for what we needed, the place was spot on. Overnight parking would have cost £8, but our disabled badge meant we could park free. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

Everyone working there was friendly and helpful, always around when needed. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the UK, and this was one of the friendliest places I’ve visited during my two-day stay.
