The cottage was beautifully furnished and laid out, with everything we could need. Our daughter was very happy there, which is saying something because she's quite hard to please. We stayed for a long weekend with her, and the hosts were friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating. We'd highly recommend the cottage and the glorious surrounding countryside for a stay any time of year.

Weavers Cottage is beautiful, and we already miss it. My family and I spent a week there over Christmas. It had everything we could want, from lovely decor to warm, cosy log burners. The village and nearby countryside are picturesque, with great walks right from the door and welcoming local country pubs. Owners John and Amanda were so welcoming and helpful. The mince pies, Christmas cake, and dog biscuits they left as welcome treats were a lovely touch. We look forward to coming back and would recommend it to everyone. Many thanks from the Stables family.

John and Amanda were so hospitable, checking that everything was okay, sharing tips for local walks, and letting us pick apples from their tree. The setting beside the village church was lovely, and local amenities were great. Roots Farm Shop and Swainby Bike Hire are especially worth a visit. We had a wonderful time at Weavers Cottage. It was cosy, welcoming, and beautifully decorated, and there was a delicious cake waiting for us on arrival. Thanks so much, John and Amanda. Written on behalf of Jeannie Barber.

We have family coming up from down south for Christmas, and they'll be staying here. The cottage looks fantastic, with two reception rooms, a large kitchen, and a lovely back garden for the boys and the dog. It's easy to get to the North York moors and other local landmarks. Brilliant.

The cottage is lovely to stay in, beautiful and really comfortable, with everything you could need and then some. We can't recommend it enough.
