The courtyard has a farmhouse feel, with plenty of shops and small local businesses to browse. We stayed over Christmas and New Year as a large family, and the place was warm and cosy. The owners live next door and are very hands-on, so they'd be there if anything came up, though we didn't need to ask for anything. Make sure you try a meal at the cafe, and take home some cakes or jams. We couldn't have picked a better place. Thank you.

It's easy to see how family-oriented Hopley is. The owners are all involved, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, quick to help and easy to talk to. There are some unusual shops and activities on site, and the rooms feel homely rather than like standard hotel rooms. They cost around half what a typical hotel room would. There's no pressure about departure time either. We'll definitely stay again.

The farm shop and restaurant had a huge choice, and the food and drinks were gorgeous. There are lots of small businesses here too, plus crazy golf. Such a fantastic little spot. We'll be back.

Everyone was so lovely at this little place, especially the woman in the toy shop. The cafe food was lovely too.

Lovely staff and great service. This little farm shop and cafe has an extensive drinks menu, with breakfast and lunch or tea options.
