The food was tasty and the service was good. We got a warm, friendly welcome from the landlady and staff, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a very enjoyable visit.

We gave it two tries for lunch and didn’t feel welcome either time. The food was okay, but the atmosphere was really off. It’s a shame since we’ve just moved nearby and this is the closest pub, but we won’t be going back. Lovely location, sadly not somewhere we’d choose to spend time.
