Luxustay Milburn House

The place was modern and clean, and the staff were very polite.

The living room was the nicest part, mostly because of the big TV set into a frame. The flat itself was clean and worked fine, and it was finished to a decent standard, but calling it luxury is a stretch. The kitchen was clean too, though the advertised luxury breakfast was just tea bags and juice. The cereal in the photos wasn't there, so bring your own if you stay. For us, Gulliver's being nearby was the main draw, and it made for a good day out. Willen Lake was lovely as well, and there are useful amenities close by. I'm sure the location suits commuters, but it didn't feel right for a family break. The area around the apartment was a bit rough around the edges. One night, groups of young lads hung around the car park, driving around and making noise late enough to keep us all awake. The following day, a few people circled and eyed up our car. The bedroom was basic. The bed advertised as a king definitely wasn't one, there were no spare pillows, and the thin ones supplied gave me poor neck support and pain the next day. The mattress was hard and the duvet felt practically nonexistent, hardly luxury. We wouldn't stay again, and would rather pay a bit more for the apartment suite at the double tree hilton.

It's close to the centre, with plenty of free parking on site and keyless entry. The apartment is clean and modern, with all the appliances you need.

Absolutely horrible. The service was terrible and the place wasn't clean at all. I'm never staying here again.
