Jim even shifted his van so I could park on the drive, which was really thoughtful. The rooms have everything you need, the breakfast was the best, and the location is close to everything. Staying with Jim and Anne was the best place I’ve ever stayed. Nothing bad to say.

The room was spotless and the bed really comfortable. Jim and his wife were so welcoming, and the whole place was absolutely clean. It’s just off the main road and town centre, with plenty of pubs and restaurants an easy walk away. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone coming to the area.

We booked again for next year after staying here for an event at Milton Keynes National bowl, which is about a 10-15 minute drive away. Jim and Ann were lovely hosts and even remembered exactly how we like our eggs. Breakfast came with an English breakfast, tea or coffee, and a choice of cereals. Our room and en suite were roomy, and the bed and pillows were very comfy.

The cooked breakfast was amazing, and we really enjoyed chatting with Jim, who runs the place. He’s a lovely, friendly and approachable man. The room and facilities were great, though it seemed the housekeeper hadn’t quite done a full job. We’ll come back. Thank you.

The couple running this place made us feel very welcome. It’s quiet, the rooms are spacious, and the bed was so comfy that I slept like a log. Breakfast was spot on too, and they make a great cuppa. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m in the area.
