I always leave already looking forward to the next visit. Paula and Nigel know the local area and places to eat well, and Nigel’s daily weather report is a nice touch at breakfast. The breakfast itself has never let me down, whether I’ve had something cooked, cereal or fresh fruit. I’ve been coming to this clean, comfortable B&B for years, and the two of them are consistently professional and welcoming. It’s a real gem, and could easily deserve an even higher rating. I’m never aware of other guests in the building.

We stayed for six nights, and I’d happily go back tomorrow. Paula and Nigel are incredible hosts, always ready to do whatever they can for their guests. It really feels like home. The location, food and cleanliness were all brilliant, and after all my years of holidays, this is the best place I’ve stayed. I’d rate every part of it 10/10. At breakfast we chatted with other guests, and everyone seemed to return year after year. Thank you from Pat, Mom and Caroline.

There were fresh roses, cream and a card waiting in our room as a belated surprise for our 30th anniversary. Such a lovely touch. Nigel and Paula made us feel at home, and they’re warm, wonderful hosts. Breakfasts were fab too.

Everything was catered for, including a kitchen stocked with what you’d need. The owners were great, and the place was very clean. It’s in a lovely location. I’ve been coming to Blue Anchor for 30 years, and I’ll definitely stay here next time.

Back for another lovely stay at The Langbury. The hosts are wonderful and the breakfasts are fantastic. They make everything easy, nothing’s too much trouble. We’ll be back!
