Candlelight B&B

We found the apartment warm and comfortable, with central heating and heated towel rails in the bathrooms. There was ample private, secure parking at the rear, plus a patio with a table and chairs. It's about a five-minute walk to the seafront and the quaint town centre, with restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets nearby. Lidl and Tesco are also within easy walking distance. Candlelight had everything we needed: comfortable beds, thick, bouncy towels, an en suite in each bedroom, an extra toilet and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room had a TV with Netflix, WiFi worked throughout, and there were starter provisions like milk, jam, tea and coffee. We were welcomed into the cleanest accommodation we've ever stayed in. It made our visit so comfortable, and we'll certainly return.

The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and the food was cooked perfectly to order. The hosts were great and friendly. It's on a semi-busy road, but things quieten down at night, and the shops and beach aren't far to walk. What more could you ask for?

We love this B&B and always stay overnight when we're in Devon. It's such a pleasure to come back. The hosts are lovely, the rooms are beautiful, comfortable and spacious, and it's so close to the town centre. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever tasted.

Breakfast was excellent, and they cater for vegetarians and vegans. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were a reasonable size with a TV. It's clean and presentable, and the central Minehead location is handy. For the price, it's a reasonable place to stay. The bedding could be better: the pillows felt poor quality, and giving us a 12 tog quilt in summer didn't seem well thought out. There's no fridge in the room, though management kindly let us use theirs.
