We felt very welcome here, thanks to the friendly atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and the owners' care for the house is clear in both the building and its well-kept gardens. It's a lovely home in a lovely spot, and we'd happily come back.

David was kind and happy to help with anything. After our long journey, tea and a slice of fruitcake were a lovely surprise. Glen Lodge is beautifully cared for inside and out, and our roomy, comfortable room looked out over the gardens and sea. The location is idyllic. I'd recommend staying here without hesitation. It's hard to imagine finding this kind of quality and service elsewhere.

A quiet place with well-appointed rooms and a warm, friendly host. You can look toward the woods behind or the sea out front, and Porlock's amenities are only a short walk away. Breakfast was great too.
