The TV was excellent, and the WiFi worked well once I figured out that the 16-digit password had no spaces. The TV apps included Amazon and Netflix, but I didn't know my passwords for them. The bathroom was adequate, with a good shower, though the bath is unusually small and the knob for lifting the plug is loose and needs a plumber. In the living room, the table lamp needs attention, and the garden could use some care, including mowing the grass and tending the plants. The Annexe is a bungalow behind the main house, which is called Halcyon, but it was hidden and difficult to find. I parked by the garage and had to carry all my bags around to the door facing the garden. The kitchen is small, with a folding dining table and wooden folding chairs. There's a large microwave in the middle of the worktop and a four-slice toaster, but nothing suitable for cooking vegetables in the microwave, so the kitchen is more suited to takeaways. The passage to the bedroom is narrow, and the bedroom has a large double wardrobe. After a poor night's sleep, I realised on the second day that the mattress hadn't been turned regularly, perhaps for six months. Turning it solved my problem, but the cheap mattress really needs replacing. I was disappointed and won't be returning.

The enclosed garden is a good size, and the living room is pleasant. The kitchen and dining area are cramped, with little room to store food, and the TV and WiFi signal were unreliable. The bed needs a king-size duvet. The double one isn't big enough, and I want to sleep without fighting over the covers! There was plenty of hot water, but the bath felt cramped and would be difficult for someone with mobility issues, as there's no handrail. The owners were helpful, though they're local, so there are locals around to help with any problems.

A clean, well-equipped annexe, just a few minutes' walk from the lovely fishing village of Moelfre.
