The room was tidy and clean, staff were friendly, and the kitchen was practical. It was good value, but the repeated requests for a review kept me from giving five stars. I understand why they ask, but five emails is too much.

Corran House was great value for money, with a modern, clean room and facilities that worked especially well for a longer stay. It's close to the town centre, where there's a good choice of bars and restaurants. We had a fantastic weekend and would definitely recommend it and come back. A+++

Our family room was spacious, very clean, and had really comfortable beds. We stayed with our 11 and 6 year old son and daughter, and the welcome was lovely. The kitchen area had everything we needed. The place overlooks the sea and sits right beside a public car park. We'd definitely recommend it.

We like the convenience of Corran House and have stayed a couple of times. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. The self-service breakfast is a nice setup: you pay for what you take using an honesty box. On our latest Sunday night visit, live music from the pub made things a bit noisy, but the courtesy earplugs by the front door helped. Good value overall.

The studio was beautiful, with stunning sea views I could stare at forever, and the shared spaces were nice too. We didn't notice the pub noise at all, it was completely bearable. The downside was a very strong smell from the pub that filled the common areas and our room, as if the kitchen ventilation opened straight into the lobby. The windows are right above the pub, so opening them didn't help.
