We spent a relaxing two weeks at the old malt house, from Jan7th-21st, and had everything we needed. Our little dog loved it, and we were out exploring every day. The Notley arms is only about 30 seconds away and serves great food and beers. The landlord and lady are a lovely couple who made us feel very welcome. So glad we came across this little gem.

A quiet spot that worked really well for walking, with loads of places to see within a 30-minute drive. We booked two nights at the last minute, and having a great pub about a 20-second walk away was perfect.

It's quirky and homely, and still well worth a stay if you're nearby or thinking of visiting. Just be aware it's secluded, and the managing agents can be a pain to communicate with.

A nice pub and restaurant, though a bit pricey.
