We’ve used this place twice over the past few years, staying with a group before catching the ferry to the IOM. It’s comfortable, spotless, well equipped and handy for local amenities. Mark is a great host and keeps in touch clearly. Nothing we’d fault.

Mark was really helpful throughout our family weekend. The house had a cosy, welcoming feel and was very well equipped, and the quiet road made for a peaceful stay. We could walk to the seafront easily. We loved the place, thanks so much!

We’ve returned to 1 Lathom Avenue in Morecambe several times, most recently in Feb 2025, and it keeps impressing us. The new bathroom has a large walk-in shower, and the beds are wonderful, with mattresses, linen and towels at the standard you’d expect from a 5 star hotel. It really does feel like a home away from home, with a lot of care put into the comfort. Sainsbury’s and a fish and chip shop are only a 5 min walk away. Having room for two cars on the drive, extra street parking and a complimentary EV charger was a real help. We’ll definitely be back.

I saw the house while family members were staying there. It was tidy and clean, with thoughtful child-friendly touches like a stair gate, suitable cutlery and crockery, and a toilet seat. The bedrooms were nice and easily accommodated four adults and four children. It’s simple to reach from the M6, with the beach and amenities nearby.
