The Sea Lynn

The owners were friendly and gave us plenty of useful information. They’ve done a fantastic job with this guest house, it’s a real standout. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious, well laid out and very, very clean. The location is brilliant too. My son loved the gnomes and fairies. I’d highly recommend it to anyone staying in Morecambe.

The owners were fab, made us feel at home, and were really friendly at breakfast and throughout the day. They also accommodated our late arrival. We had a lovely stay in a great family room at a competitive price, just a short walk from the seafront. Breakfast was simple but well done, and the rooms were clean and nicely presented. I’d recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Morecambe or using it as a base for the Lakes.

The Sea Lynn felt like a home from home, and at a very reasonable price, without any cooking, cleaning or washing up. The rooms were delightful and spacious. Our room had a sea view, a table and chairs, and a comfortable sofa where we could relax and watch TV. The internet was free, reliable and fast enough for streaming movies, which made a real difference for work and for using Netflix, Skype or Facetime. It was much more usable than the WiFi at other hotels we’ve stayed at in the area. Lesley and Rob were friendly, welcoming hosts who offered useful local advice and suggestions for places to eat nearby. The guest house is well placed for the seafront, shops and several nice places to eat, including Atkins Fish n Chips, which you have to try. Bowling, the cinema and amusement arcades are also a short walk away. We were in Morecambe for work and to see friends. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options, including fried bread and eggs from Rob, and homemade cereal, jam and marmalade from Lesley. Paddington would be proud of those preserves. We look forward to trying more of the homemade food and drinks when we return. We look forward to coming back to Sea Lynn. Stuart & Ricki.

We stayed two nights at the family-run Sea Lynn Guesthouse in Morecambe on our way to the Isle of Man via Heysham sea port. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and we’d recommend a visit. We’ll be going back ourselves.
