My boyfriend and I wanted a cheap getaway, so we came here at the beginning of the year, just after the big storm in Cornwall. The apartment was modern and really clean, and Mullion was a great base for visiting sights around Cornwall. The storm kept us indoors for two nights, so we loved having board games in the lounge. It was a really cozy place for a weekend away. We’d highly recommend it and plan to come back in the summer.

The location made it easy to enjoy Mullion. We walked from Mullion Cove along the coast path to Poldu beach, then stopped for coffee and cake at the outdoor cafe before heading back. Old Inn is only a couple of minutes away for dinner, and the Spar next door had freshly baked Cornish Prima pasties and a Costa coffee machine. There’s free parking a short walk away, plus parking outside from 6pm to 9am. Savoy Bay Mullion felt peaceful and relaxing, and the one bedroom apartment was bright, clean, and newly refurbished. The kitchen had good equipment and a dishwasher, and having a washing machine and tumble dryer was handy for our dog’s sandy towels. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable. We also loved the clean walk-in shower, soft towels, and heated towel rail. Two TVs meant no arguments over what to watch, and there were books and board games too. We were greeted by a welcoming courtyard with potted plants, outdoor seating, and a private walled garden. A hosepipe came in handy for rinsing the dog’s sandy feet and our boots. In the kitchen, there was a lovely Cornish cream tea waiting for us, with scones, clotted cream, biscuits, milk, tea, and coffee. We felt thoroughly spoiled. The information folder was useful, with advice on dog friendly beaches and places to eat. I called to check the checkout time and spoke to a very nice woman straight away. We also treated ourselves to a spa day at Mullion Cove Hotel, about a mile away. We used the pool and saunas, and had a full body massage and facial. Leo had a great time on the beach. We loved our weekend and can’t wait to come back.
