We’ve eaten at this characterful pub a few times over the years, and what we did get this visit was very nice. The waitress was friendly and apologetic. Still, many menu options weren’t available, so we had to reorder several times. My husband was the only one who didn’t have to choose another dish, but his chicken pizza came out as a chicken burger. After the meal, no one checked whether we wanted dessert or another drink, which is the basic follow up you’d expect.

The room was really good, and breakfast was excellent. We were made to feel welcome, and the pub served a lovely evening meal. We stayed one night with our dog, and the long stay car park is very close by.

The salmon was delicious and beautifully presented, and the peppercorn steak was the best I’ve had in a long time. The fish and chips were great too. There were four of us dining on 1st May, and we all enjoyed the meal. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food was great value. We’ll be back next month while staying in the village. Thank you.

I haven’t stayed overnight at The Old Inn, Mullion, but I’ve eaten and had drinks there. To me, it’s the best pub in all of Cornwall. I’m looking forward to getting back to Mullion for a pint and a meal.

The regular dishes were much better, especially the Hunters Chicken, steak, and moules. Three of us tried specials this time, but they were poorly seasoned and cooked. I usually find the day menu has the freshest, tastiest options. Great pub, though.
