Overcliff Lodge

There’s plenty to do nearby, including National Trust sites, the North Norfolk Railway, Cromer, and walking routes. The house worked well for our university friends’ reunion, now that we’re all retired. Having two kitchens made self-catering easy, and a couple of maintenance issues were sorted quickly.

A good holiday spot, quiet and within walking distance of the beach. Comfortable, clean and well equipped, with different indoor spaces for activities. The hot tub was good, and Norfolk Holiday Team were helpful and friendly.

We had a great week as a family of 19, and the house was comfortable. The table that seated us all was amazing, the hot tub was fabulous, and there was a lovely wraparound garden. We were impressed by how personable and willing to help Everyone was. They dealt with every issue we raised straight away. We’d recommend it for large groups and would return. I hadn’t realised the house is actually three units that can be separated for smaller groups. Because of that layout, both larger kitchens felt too small for cooking comfortably for 19 people. The house is right on the main road, with a Tesco Express opposite that we used daily, and parking for eight cars. There are no gates, so we had to watch the dog and our four-year-old twins. The sun is at the front, where there’s garden furniture, but the road is busy and noisy. The walk to the beach takes longer than five minutes, and the access is steep, so it wasn’t suitable for me with walking and mobility issues. We didn’t know there was apparently an accessible section further on. Everyone else loved the beach 🥰🏖️

We spent a wonderful family weekend in this fantastic big house. There were 17 of us plus one dog, and it accommodated us easily. The bedrooms were modern and comfortable, and the house was clean, bright, and warm. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the hot tub went down a treat. There’s a Tesco right across the road, and the beach is an easy walk away. I’d highly recommend it for a large gathering.
