Cawdor House was one of the best parts of my Scotland trip. The property is gorgeous, set in the beautiful town of Nairn, and our host was kind from the minute we arrived. My cousin and I loved our stay and still talk about the scrambled eggs. The continental breakfast was amazing, with coffee and eggs made to your preference and gluten-free choices too. I’d highly recommend trying the eggs. Thanks to the Cawdor House staff for being so lovely. ❤️

We’ll absolutely stay again if we’re in the area. The grounds were peaceful, the location convenient, parking easy, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast room was stunning, and the owner even made a tiny croissant for our nine-month-old. Mostly, I want to thank the kind woman running the place and the other guests for their grace and understanding. Our infant is a seasoned traveller and usually well behaved, but got sick unexpectedly and wasn’t at his best. Everyone was so understanding, and when we left early, they sent us off with extra breakfast to go so we wouldn’t disturb the other guests. Thank you all for your kindness.

Breakfast was really good, with gluten-free bread, croissants and bagels for me, plus a choice of how you’d like your eggs. There was cheese, ham and fruit too, and the coffee was great. Our room was quiet and clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower ran nice and hot. It had everything you need, including tea and coffee facilities, a TV, hairdryer, shower gel and hand wash. The woman who welcomed us was lovely and friendly. We’d definitely stay here again.

A very nice place to stay, in a beautiful house. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast and coffee were yummy. It’s conveniently located near the beach and close to Cawdor Castle and Gardens.

The owners are on site and clearly care about their guests. When they greeted us at the door, we knew we’d picked a lovely B&B for our parkrun weekend. Fantastic breakfast too.
