The property has an amazing view, and the staff were hardworking, cordial, and hospitable. I stayed two nights and found it an excellent place. The lift wasn't working, though. I learned it had been out of order for six months, so guests have to carry their luggage all the way to their rooms. I saw senior citizens struggling with the stairs. Management should look into this.

The setting is a real standout, with views across the Firth and a path through the grounds leading onto the beach path into town. This hotel has history at every turn but offers a very modern approach to service and relaxation. Our room was warm and cosy, with a great bed and a modern ensuite. The bakelite phone and old-fashioned radio on the dresser were a lovely nod to the Victorian era, when the hotel was built on the Nairn Riviera. The staff were friendly and professional from check-in through the restaurant and bar to the cleaners, who kept our room spotless. We had breakfast in the conservatory each morning, a lovely start to the day, with a great choice of cooked dishes and the usual continental treats alongside that fantastic water view. We also had a massage and spent a relaxing afternoon in the pool, sauna, and steam room. The spa facilities were impressively clean, modern, and enjoyable. Highly recommended. We'll be back next year for another relaxing weekend.

The spa facilities were nice, and they had last-minute slots for treatments. They also tried to accommodate a last-minute booking, and parking was easy. But this was a really disappointing stay. My room overlooked the roof and fire exit, and it was unbearably hot with no way to adjust the temperature. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in, from the pillows to the mattress, and the sheets were rough and scratchy. The food was greasy and not what I'd expect from a spa hotel. The “dog Friendly” food was unpleasant, and only one table gives you a sea view. Most of the staff seemed uninterested, as if they'd rather be somewhere else. I asked if the complimentary alcoholic drink in my room could be changed to a non-alcoholic option. They said they'd check with someone and get back to me, but never did. I booked very last minute, and apparently that's why the stay was disappointing, so maybe don't book last minute if you want to come here. Even off season, it cost just under £300.00 for a stay and service that should have cost half that at most.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful, especially the woman at reception. Our room was lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the Golf View Hotel, right by the beach. The spa and swimming pool are excellent, and there's an outdoor hot tub, just the thing after a quick dip in the sea! The hotel is dog friendly. I'm sure we'll be back soon. ❤

We had a fabulous two-day stay, five girlfriends from Aberdeen. We did one night with a spa package and one regular stay. The spa facilities were lovely and clean, and so were the treatments and therapists. The food and service were lovely too, especially the young bar and restaurant staff, who were friendly, chatty, and helpful. We'll definitely be back. Our only complaint was that we had a room of three, all paying for the spa package, but there was just one Temple Spa box in the room. Maybe it was a mistake. Should there be one per room or per person? If two or three people are sharing, who gets it? We all paid the same price.
