The beach views and peaceful setting made our three nights here lovely. I came with my parents and children, and we all found the house spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. There were thoughtful extras too, like dressing gowns, a boot warmer, kids' toys and a bookcase. The garden was private and well kept, with bikes available, and the children loved being able to use the pool and spa at the golf view hotel across the road. We'd happily recommend this holiday home and hope to come back soon.

We had a fantastic stay, with a breathtaking view over the Moray Firth. We spotted porpoises playing just offshore several times, and the sandy beach was clean. Nairn has plenty of good places to eat, from fish and chips and excellent ice cream to gastro pubs and Michelin star grade cuisine. The house itself is a magnificent base for the area. It's in an unbeatable location, the self catering facilities are top notch, and the accommodation is very well appointed. The beds were super comfy and the furniture felt luxurious. Michael was a fantastic host, affable and charming, and well organized while still easy going. Access to the gym, pool and spa opposite was a great bonus.

For our week in the Nairn area for a family wedding, this was a good place to stay. Our family of six had plenty of room and everyone was comfortable. The seaside location has lovely views and is handy for walks along the beach, and Michael was friendly when we spoke before check-in. I gave three stars because what was advertised didn't match what we found, and the personal touches matter to me. The website promised fresh flowers, kitchen basics, Prosecco and coffee as a complimentary welcome package, but none were there. Toiletries were promised too, and weren't provided. Cleaning seemed below par, with dusty surfaces and a pair of underwear left in a bedroom drawer. There was one towel per room for six people over a week, which wasn't ideal, and we were told we couldn't have small washcloths due to an unrelated COVID excuse. The bikes weren't available at first, but after we emailed they were brought over straight away. It seemed to me that the owner isn't usually around and the management and cleaning company handling changeovers are doing a less than stellar job. The house has so much potential, but needs some TLC.

We stayed for seven nights between Christmas and New Year and had a great time. The big day room has a sea view, and the house works really well for families with kids. The kitchen is well equipped, there's a dining room, and the children loved having the swimming pool literally across the road.

The ocean is only a minute away, and this is a lovely place for a family to spend time together. There's so much care in the details. It was a little cold on the ground floor, but we'd totally stay here again.
