The double room was much bigger than I expected, and we were given a warm welcome. We stayed just one night, but had an excellent dinner and a very good breakfast the next day. It’s dog-friendly, which is a big plus and should be advertised more. A great stay!

We booked directly for three nights over Easter with the family and our dog. It was all straightforward and reasonably priced, with plenty of parking at the front. Chris and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was sensational, just as promised, freshly cooked and made to suit our dietary needs. We ate at the hotel one night and the food was very good. The bar was lively and had Sky Sports. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay, and the place was very dog-friendly. The locals in the bar were sociable and made a fuss of our dog. Dinner in the restaurant was very good, and so was breakfast.

The staff were always helpful and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Breakfast was consistently very good, and the evening meals in the bar or dining area were superb. The bar always had a friendly atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back soon for a relaxing weekend with my wife.
