The hot tub was lovely and warm when we arrived, and we got the fire going again the next night for another soak and a barbecue. The hut felt luxurious, especially the super-comfy bed. Westcoast Hideaways is even prettier than the photos, with the shepherd huts looking out over a stunning view. Kari and Stefan welcomed us warmly, made sure we had what we needed, and shared useful tips. After we said we wanted to rest and recharge, they gave us the peace and quiet we were hoping for throughout our two nights in Handa. A beautiful spot, and I couldn't recommend it more.

We stayed for three nights at the end of September, and the shepherd's hut had everything we could need and felt remarkably spacious. The views and setting were stunning, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. High winds caused power cuts in the area on our first night, but they didn't disrupt our stay. Stefan and Kari even offered us hot water in flasks at breakfast.

They were happy to help with my special request (see pictures), and made us feel so welcome. We had a really special New Year and couldn't fault our stay. I'd absolutely recommend it, and we'd love to come back, perhaps when the weather's a bit nicer. Thanks for everything!

We’re already looking forward to another visit. The hut had all the equipment we needed, and Stefan was a great host. Such a lovely, peaceful location.

The wood-fired hot tub costs extra, but it was well worth it. We used it on two nights, relaxing with a glass of wine in an incredible setting, after midge season. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The accommodation is great, and though the location is very remote, it’s worth the effort to get there.
