The location is a real plus, near the beach and local restaurants, with Costcutter less than a five-minute walk away for another bottle of wine. Our toddler loved watching the sheep through the windows. The caravan has had a facelift since last year's negative reviews and isn't as bad as they suggest. Carpets, bedding and towels were clean. There were a few cobwebs and it was a little dusty, but we enjoyed our overnight stay and would come again.

The owner was friendly, and the area is beautiful. If you can, visit the nearby Tycock Inn. Four of us stayed for four nights in March, and I’ll keep to the facts so you can decide. The caravan is very old, with little or no insulation. We struggled to stay warm on cold days even with the gas fire, gas hob and oil filled radiators turned right up. Throws had been laid over the floor when we were shown in, and underneath we found dirty, stained carpets. There are holes beside the door frame, a bedroom ceiling badly stained from water damage, and a living room ceiling yellow with nicotine or years of dirt and grime. The bedding and towels smelled strongly of smoke, and the caravan smelled of dog. Old or not, there's no excuse for not providing clean accommodation. If we'd paid the advertised price, we would have refused to stay. We won't return and wouldn't recommend it, though it's up to you.

The caravan was cold, unclean and old, with holes around the door, stained carpets and a broken ornament. It didn't feel like a holiday home, and I wouldn't stay again. Its location near the beach was good, and the owner was nice and friendly. He asked if everything was okay, but seemed aware it needed attention and said finances would prevent replacing it, so there wasn't much he could do. I don't feel it should be on Airbnb. It's not fair on people.

The location gets the one star. The static caravan was very old and cold, and needed a major revamp and a really thorough clean. The bedding and towels smelled of cigarettes. The carpets were stained and smelly, and the ceilings had damp patches and nicotine or grime stains.

Andy, the owner, couldn't do enough for us. We wanted to add another night but it was already booked, so I'd suggest taking a deposit. The other guests failed to turn up, and we all missed out.
