8/10
The rooms were clean and in good shape, and breakfast was very good. The owner was also extremely courteous and quick to help me find things to do. I hadn't looked into the location carefully before arriving, though, and it may not suit younger visitors hoping for activities or nightlife. I met a couple who were there for birdwatching, which seemed more typical of the area.

We were welcomed by the friendly owner with coffee and homemade cake. Our room was modern and very comfortable, with a lovely en-suite bathroom. The setting is scenic, and there are places to eat nearby.

Comfy bed, and the brekkie was good.

The place has a lovely family feel, and the host was kind, helpful, and flexible. Parking and Wi-Fi in the room were available. Breakfast was delicious, and it seems well suited to short or longer stays. For dinner, there's a nearby restaurant, and the host is happy to help you with it.
