We loved being able to walk straight from the back garden into the forest, and one day we headed into the village for a delicious traditional Scottish breakfast at Nethy Bridge Cafe, then returned along the river. After our outings, coming back to Osprey House each evening was a joy. The house was spotless, comfortable and spacious for all seven of us during our week in September 2025. It was well equipped and looked after, especially the roomy kitchen, which had more gear than mine at home. The dishwasher made clearing up after our home-cooked dinners easy, and we spent plenty of evenings around the table playing games. There were games and cuddly toys too, which got up to mischief during our stay, though I suspect the occupants had something to do with that! Files on the bookcase were full of local information. We already knew what we wanted to see, but would have made good use of them otherwise. A beautiful home away from home. I’d absolutely recommend staying here. Five stars.

The woodland garden has a gate straight into the woods, so the children could get out and enjoy nature. There’s loads of room for a family, and it really felt like our happy place. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon.

The gate into the woods was a great feature. The home had plenty of room and was well equipped, all in a lovely area.

The accommodation was excellent, and it backs right onto lovely woodland.

A quiet spot, and a really cosy, beautiful cottage. It would work well for a big family or a group.
