Amanda had put up stair gates and left a high chair for us. The place was immaculate, cosy, homely, and nicely fitted out, with very comfortable beds and handy off-road parking. It’s conveniently located, so we could walk everywhere. What a great little find. We’d stay again if we come back to Southport.

The Coach House felt like a home away from home for our wonderful weekend. The cottage was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, and Amanda put Bart Simpson covers on the bed for my 11-year-old, which he was chuffed with. My parents have visited every year for the past eight years and always speak so highly of it. Now I understand why. We can’t wait to come back.

Amanda and Colin made us feel very welcome and kept checking that everything was all right. The beds were great, and we slept well every night during our lovely four-day stay. It’s a comfortable place with everything you need. A couple of ornaments might be nice, haha. Just teasing, Amanda.

We spent five weeks here and really enjoyed it. It was clean, wonderfully comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. Colin and Amanda were fantastic hosts, with a good feel for how much company each guest wanted. We’d happily return when visiting Southport. Six stars!

It’s an easy walk from the Coach House to Lord Street, and the location suited us well. Amanda was very accommodating when our arrival time kept changing. The property was clean and comfortable, and we hope to stay again.
