Watersedge Guest House

We felt like family during our stay. The hosts were so friendly and helped with everything, from our rooms and towels to day trip suggestions and nearby restaurants. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Thanks for making us feel at home during our three-week holiday from the USA!

We haven't actually stayed at this hotel, but we watched you on 4 in a bed while planning a tour of the UK. You seem like a lovely couple who treat guests like family, and the place looks wonderful and homely, with great rooms, remarkable friendly service and a lovely location. Still, we wish you hadn't underpaid the other participants by such huge amounts. It made you come across as game players or cheats, even though you would have won without a doubt. We don't think you meant any harm and assume you were following the feedback, so we're making an exception and plan to stay with you. We'll be stopping in your area for sure and hope others will too. Once we've finished planning and booked our holidays at work, we'll get in touch. We probably need three rooms for two days. Sam.

The room was small but perfect, with comfortable, nicely made beds. It and the bathroom were clean. We appreciated the little fridge, and there was fresh milk on arrival for our morning coffee. We also had a coffee machine, tea, instant coffee and biscuits. Alan and Sylvie were wonderful hosts. From the moment we stepped through the Watersedge door, we felt welcome. Silvie explained everything and gave us information about the guesthouse. There's an honesty bar where you can help yourself to drinks, a beautiful conservatory to relax in, a garden to enjoy in good weather, and seaside walks across the road. Breakfast had to be ordered the night before, and there was plenty to choose from: English breakfast, continental options with warm croissants and Welsh pancakes, toast with different jams, preserves, Nutella and honey, fruit and natural yogurts with fresh fruit, several cereals, and orange and apple juice. I'm sure they'd provide something specific if asked. We had a lovely stay and would recommend Watersedge to anyone.

We only managed to stay one night, but absolutely loved the place and hope to return someday. The room was lovely and clean, and breakfast was excellent. Sylvie was one of the friendliest, most welcoming hosts we've ever met.
