Oyster Cottage is only a 1-2 minute walk from New Quay’s main shops and restaurants, and the beach is easy to reach on foot too. The town is lovely, with colourful houses, a wide sandy beach and beautiful views over the sea and bay. The owners were lovely and suggested some good restaurants; there are also several good fish and chips shops just a few minutes away. Inside, the cottage is much bigger than it looks in the photos, with plenty of space for our family of five. There are lots of thoughtful design touches, including bedroom portholes that made the kids feel like they were sleeping on a boat. The beds were comfortable, and the central heating should be useful in colder months. The kitchen was a dream for cooking, with lots of equipment, a huge double oven and five hobs. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend Oyster Cottage for a trip to New Quay.

Rose Cottage on the glasfryn estate was peaceful and quiet, and had everything we needed. Louise was very helpful and sorted out anything that came up. If you’re after a quiet stay, this is the place.

From the outside you wouldn’t guess how spacious it is, but inside the cottage opens up beautifully. It was spotless and felt like a real home from home. We’ve stayed twice already and can’t wait to come back.

The harbour views and location are fabulous. The place was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a self-catering stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the owners were very helpful. Nothing to fault.

We stayed during the August Bank holiday week. The location was excellent, close to the beach, with a short walk uphill to the car park. It could easily fit two kids and four adults if needed.
