My daughter and I visited in December 2024 and had a memorable time, but we’re still in a financial dispute with the hotel owners. I’d advise future guests to make sure every transaction comes with a fully documented receipt.

The hosts were incredibly helpful, and breakfast was lovely. This is a truly unique place to stay, with amazing rooms. Have a look at the website, you won’t find rooms like these elsewhere.

Hugh picked us up from our wedding reception and brought us back to Manor Court, even though it was late. My wife and I stayed here for our wedding night, and the place was amazing. The Queens Suite was so lovely, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Hugh and Julie were wonderful hosts, with perfect service. We’ll definitely look into coming back for our anniversary next year. Thanks again for all your help last night, Hugh. It didn’t go unnoticed!

Hugh & Julie were warm and welcoming, and the breakfasts were really tasty. The service felt personal without being intrusive. This was our second stay at this stunning hidden gem. My husband first treated me to a visit 10 years ago, and I wanted to return the favour. We stayed in The Queens Suite and The Kings Chamber, both so decadent. We absolutely will be back!

Julie and Hugh did everything they could, and more, to make our stay go perfectly. The rooms, breakfast, and surroundings were all beautiful, and I felt so relaxed on the wedding morning. We spent two nights here at the start of August, the night before my wedding and our wedding night. Such a lovely hidden gem. A huge thank you to them both, we can’t wait to stay again! X
