The White Dove Bed and Breakfast with Glamping Newark showground

Breakfast was delicious, with everything cooked just right and plenty of choice: cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juice and hot drinks. The garden had loads of games and activities for our two little ones, and they didn’t want to leave. We had a comfortable, well-equipped room for our overnight stay at the White Dove B&B while visiting friends locally. Thanks for the hospitality.

Sheila is such a down-to-earth host and will go out of her way to make your stay a good one. This was our second visit to the White Dove, and we had another lovely weekend. We’ve tried both sides of the tents, and liked them both. The kitchen unit had all the utensils and cooking gear, and towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and plenty of firewood were ready for us. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again, Sheila.

The road to the showground isn’t really safe to walk along, so you’ll need to drive. The A17 noise was distracting for us, and we needed earplugs at night, though it couldn’t be heard inside the cosy, comfortable B&B. We used its shower and bathroom. We had a warm, generous welcome at the Dove B&B. The Bell tent and jacuzzi were quirky and fun, and the roomy glamping setup worked well with the unsettled weather. It’s an ideal spot if you’re going to the showground.

Sheila kept checking that we had what we needed, and the Bell tent was cosy and comfortable. We stayed there for my birthday and had a lovely little trip.
