I didn't end up staying because there was a mix-up with my online booking, though the hotel looked beautiful. The receptionist was wonderful and went above and beyond to help us book another hotel. Then I left my purse behind while I was so flustered 😔, and she called the next hotel to let them know it was there. I wish I'd got her name. Thank you ❤️

We had a lovely weekend here while attending a wedding. The location was brilliant, and despite it being a weekend in the city centre, there wasn't much noise. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The shower pressure could have been stronger, and there were no handles at the sides of the bath. Still, I'd definitely stay again.

The Grey Street Hotel is in a great spot for the train station, river and quayside, and town centre. We had a large, clean room, and the staff were friendly and happy. Breakfast was freshly prepared full English, with continental options available too. I'd recommend it for a holiday or short stay.

The decor was lovely and plush, and the room and bed were comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly during our two-night stay. Breakfast was fresh with a good choice, and the English breakfast was cooked to order and really nice. We'd definitely stay again.

The breakfast was one of the best, with a great choice and everything cooked perfectly. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. We got home after two nights here, and the room was clean, warm, and quite adequate. The bed and pillows were spot on, so comfortable. I'd highly recommend it and would certainly return.
