Jenny at reception welcomed us, and she also arranged a special vegetarian order for our dietary needs. Such a thoughtful gesture. The whole stay was impeccable, from the friendly service and spotless reception to the lovely decor. Our room, the breakfast, the car park and the location were all faultless. We’ll definitely return. Thanks to the whole team, especially Jenny, for making the stay so wonderful 💕

We booked a one-bedroom suite for a relaxing few days away, and it had everything we needed and more. The staff were the best we’ve had at any hotel, a real credit to the place. Big thank you! There’s a good choice at breakfast, secure parking on site, and it’s only a short walk to the city centre.

The breakfast was a big letdown in an otherwise amazing stay. There was a breakdown in communication between reception and the kitchen, and I was very disappointed when I arrived for breakfast, even though I’d asked several times about dietary restrictions. If I’d known the options would be so limited, I could easily have cooked in my room. The usual spread includes a waffle iron, pastries, English breakfast items, tea, coffee and juice. Vegetarians should be fine, but gluten-free and vegan choices are very limited, so I’d bring your own food or cook in the room. The rooms are a good size, very clean and thoughtfully laid out, with a well-equipped kitchenette. The beds are comfy, the staff are polite and welcoming, and the location is great for the quayside. Parking at the hotel costs extra.

The rooms are gorgeous, the beds comfortable, and everything felt clean and bright. Reception staff were great, and breakfast had a standard but good selection. It’s a little out of the way, about a 20-minute walk to the centre. There’s no bar, though you can order certain drinks through reception. There’s also a small pantry shop with a limited range of snacks and drinks. The only downside was the drinks machine, which served the worst drinks I’ve ever tasted.
