Byerley House

The little touches made us smile, especially the Lotus biscuits with the tea and coffee, and the tiny pot of Nutella my girlfriend loved having with her toast. There was even a fan in the room. The host was so friendly and easy to talk to, and the room and location were lovely. Great breakfast too. Highly recommended, we had a fantastic stay.

We slept really well, and the bedroom had proper opening windows and a fan. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and tidy, and breakfast was cooked to order. The host was wonderful and the location was fantastic. Can't fault the place, and we'll definitely be back soon.

Breakfast was the highlight, I had a full English with toast and coffee, though there was also fruit, yoghurt, probiotic drinks and cereals to choose from. Even the crockery and cutlery felt top notch. My en suite double was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of tea and coffee, and the shower stayed nice and hot at night and in the morning. They asked what time I'd like breakfast, too. I was in town from Bath on business for one night. Parking is the one thing to bear in mind: I got a space on the drive, which I was relieved about since I don't like leaving my car out of sight. There is street parking, and I imagine the hosts might move their cars to make room for guests when it's busy. Clean, comfortable, hot shower, great breakfast. What more do you need?

Breakfast was really good, and they went out of their way to accommodate my diet. The house was very clean and easy to get to. You have to park on the street, but it's a quiet neighbourhood, so finding a space shouldn't be too hard.
