Bramble Bank 'cartshed'-1 Bed Cottage-sleeps 2

The views from the hill were breathtaking, easily the most picturesque we've ever seen. The Chitty Chitty Bang Bang windmill is up there, though the hill beside the Shed is very steep and the windmill isn't open to the public. It makes a great photo spot, and the little village itself is stunning. We spent two nights at The Cart Shed and found it quaint, with everything we needed: a superb bed and bedding, a good shower and bathroom, fridge, utensils, ice cubes, and what we needed to cook a small meal. There's even your own drive. The Church from the TV comedy series Vicor of Dibley, home of the Vicor Geraldine, is right across the road. The Bull and Butcher is an easy walk away, just a stone throw from the cottage, and had fab food. Deborah also mentioned Chequers, which was great for food and drinks, a 16,mins walk away. We visited Oxford and were glad we took the park and ride, just £5 for parking and 2 people. Traffic trying to park in the city was horrendous, so we'd definitely recommend it. We also had a lovely walk along the beautiful part of the Themes at Henley on Themes. Such an amazing short break. Huge thanks to Deborah and Andrew for being great hosts!
